I work as
a paraprofessional at a public middle school. I work with children with learning disabilities. They are very challengeing
but a joy to work with. At the end of the day l feel good about the fact l have helped a child feel successful. I am a mother of 3 teenagers that keep me busy. I am
also a student myself. I'm working towards a associate degree in Computer Drafting and Design. I'm 48 years old.
I grew up in Oklahoma and graduated from Moore High School in 1975. I started working for Southwestern Bell
telephone soon after i graduated. My career with the telephone company lasted for 12 years.
In October of 1986 i was married and started a family. I had 3 children and became a stay at home mom. It has been a wonderful
expierence and l would'nt trade it for the world.
I've only lived in 2 different states, Oklahoma and Colorado Springs, Colorado, but i've traveled alot. Some of the places
I've have been are the Virgin Islands, Cozumel Mexico, Florida, New Mexico, Arkansas, and Califrornia. My favorite trip was
on a Cruise ship to Cozumel Mexico. The prettiest place l've been is St. Thomas Virgin Islands. Some of the activities
l enjoy doing are golfing and snow skiing.

What a job!
My job is very demanding! I assist teachers with children that are struggling
academically and need alot of extra help. I like seeing kids finally get it. Its so rewarding to see the light bulb come on.
I do ge frustrated with the behavior that comes with the learning disabilities. There is alot of misbavior when children are
trying to do good in school, but have a hard time learning. I work out regularly to relieve my stress.
